First Church members and guests are warmly invited to gather for a time of spiritual direction on the four Sundays in Advent—December 1, 8, 15, and 22 at 9:45 a.m. in the Whitefield Room on the lower level.  Led by Barbara Chaapel, the sessions will focus on our Advent journey in preparation for the celebration of Christmas as we share scripture, music, prayer, meditation, and silence.  Parents of Sunday school children are especially invited to join us while their children attend their own Advent class about the Journey to Bethlehem.  Contact Barbara Chaapel for more information.
