Conversations Worth Having

  • First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia 201 South 21st Street Philadelphia, PA, 19103 United States (map)

Conversations Worth Having is our annual seminar wherein we take on weighty matters, and choose to trust that committed Christians who sometimes disagree can still talk about important things.

Our topic this year is Combating Anti-semitism by Understanding its Christian Roots

All Christians should feel compelled to combat anti-Semitism, but many Christians do not know that anti-semitism has its roots in the history of the Christian Church. Dr. Ellen Charry will help us to understand more about how the church through the years has failed to stand up against the sin of anti-Semitism. In so doing, she will help us learn how to be better Christians as we consider how to be supportive of our Jewish neighbors during a time of rising anti-semitism

Registration is required; click below to register, or call the church office.

Follow-up classes will be held on Sundays, November 2, 9, and 16 at 12:40 PM.
