Give Now

A gift to First Church helps to support a broad range of ministries both here at 21st & Walnut and throughout the city of Philadelphia and beyond.  Your generosity enables us to offer a challenging and inspiring experience of worship in Center City, and to provide a full range of Christian education opportunities for all ages.  A gift also helps us to maintain our historic building, allows us to partner with numerous other church and community agencies that serve our community, and supports the efforts of the Presbyterian Church (USA) nationally and worldwide.

First Church offers a convenient way to contribute online.  Online giving is processed via Vanco. Vanco is a secure third party payment site where you can make a one-time payment or setup reoccuring payments.  (Click the "GIVE" image to access our online giving page.)

Among the many community programs we currently support are Reading Buddies, an intergenerational tutoring program in the Philadelphia schools; MANNA, a community wide nutritional service for persons with HIV/AIDS or other health needs; Wintershelter, an overnight shelter for homeless men at Trinity Memorial Church; and The Other Carpenter/Habitat, a home repair ministry in West Philadelphia.   We also provide a home in Center City for excellent community programs like Musicopia, a music program for school-age children, and Penn’s Village, a community which connects Center City residents to each other and to services they may need to stay in their own homes as they grow older or have other special needs.  A gift to First Church literally touches the lives of thousands of people.
